JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative

In line with Strategic Key priorities of SKF India Industrial Business Unit, to increase the customer Reach, Penetration with Lower cost to serve the customers, in response to the changing way of doing business Inside Sales channel is being rolled out.

We are looking for a dynamic capable result oriented sales professional to execute this initiative.

A. Purpose of the role:

B. Responsibilities

  • Lead generation using advanced technology tools.
  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, tender sites, or digital resources. Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support by connecting with internal stakeholders
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
  • Informing customers on new launches and getting business from them.
  • Drive the Distributor/Segment Sales Team to build pipelines and support to close orders
  • Closing orders and working with client through closing process

Find potential customers using smart tools.

  • Talk to clients, understand their needs, and suggest the best solutions.
  • Keep track of possible clients in an organized list (like in Excel).
  • Work with teammates and partners to make sure orders go through smoothly.
  • Check the GeM portal for tender opportunities and share information with distributors.
  • Help the sales team plan ways to attract new customers.
  • Manage job cards generated by service engineers, update them in the job card portal app, and track progress.
  • Follow up with distributors on job cards
  • Coordinate with the customer support team to assess whether pricing information should be shared with distributors.
  • Proactively engage with the customer throughout the sales life cycle to ensure best in class experience.
