Inside Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities Review complete customer enquiry of technical and commercial specifications. Responsible for accurate sizing, design selection, and error free proposal preparation. Determine competitor sizing and product information for strategy development. Confers with manufacturing team to assure processes, techniques and time schedule will meet customer needs. Preparation of the project costing in detail. Handling technical and commercial queries from customer. Coordinates with customers, Outside Sales, Sales Representatives to convince customer of the value addition on purchasing the solutions offered. Upon receipt of order, transfer of complete project details (CORB) post order to PM and assist in post order technical issues. Update Sales tools (Salesforce) on regular basis. Preferred candidate profile Experience in technical sales, preferably control valves or other mechanical related equipment; or one to two years related experience either in power plant, oil and gas or chemical industry. Understand the process of power plants, oil & gas plants, Desalination plants and pulp & paper plants. Preference for the people having oil and gas experience. Understand the basics of control valve and applications. Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Need to be a good team player. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power point and other Windows applications) General working knowledge of power stations desirable.
