Inside Sales - Application Engineer (Hybrid)

As an Inside Sales Application Engineer at Outsourced, you will play a crucial role in bridging technical expertise with customer-focused sales. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in selecting valves, actuators, and flow control solutions, catering mainly to the oil & gas, fabrication, and industrial manufacturing sectors. Your contribution will be vital in achieving sales targets and maintaining strong customer relationships. **Core Responsibilities:** - Manage inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting through phone, email, and digital channels. - Utilize SAP Business CRM to track leads, update pipelines, and forecast sales. - Meet monthly/quarterly KPIs including calls, conversions, and revenue targets. - Prepare quotes, proposals, and technical documentation using Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Assist customers in selecting control valves, isolation valves, and related accessories. - Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product suitability for client applications. - Build relationships with procurement teams, engineers, and decision-makers. - Support high-level accounts such as refineries, EPCs, and industrial plants. - Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment. **Qualifications Required:** - 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in technical or industrial products. - Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical details. - Proficiency in SAP Business CRM (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. - KPI-driven mindset with comfort working towards sales targets. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Prior knowledge of valves (control/isolation), actuators, or flow control systems. - Background in oil & gas, fabrication, or technical manufacturing industries. - Experience engaging high-level accounts such as procurement, engineers, and executives. - Familiarity with technical quoting and bid processes.
