Injection Moulding manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Injection Moulding Manager to oversee the daily operations of our injection moulding department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring optimal efficiency, product quality, and team performance while maintaining health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and oversee the daily operations of the injection moulding department.
• Lead and supervise a team of moulding technicians, setters, and machine operators.
• Ensure all production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met.
• Optimize moulding processes to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase productivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, machine downtime, and quality concerns.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for machines and tools.
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Support new product introductions, tool trials, and process validation activities.
• Maintain documentation such as production records, process parameters, and quality reports.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train, develop, and mentor staff in best practices and technical skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within an injection moulding environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding machines, tooling, and materials (especially thermoplastics).
• Hands-on experience with mould setup, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using production monitoring software and MS Office tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
