Infrastructure Support Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support for ESXI servers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to virtualization, clustering, and networking.
• Manage storage domains using various storage technologies such as SAN/NAS systems.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues on Linux-based platforms using tools like Wireshark and Network Monitoring software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical production incidents in a timely manner.

Job Requirements :

• Technical Support - Infrastructure Engineer providing support on Servers / Networking and Storage.
• Good Understanding and working knowledge on Server, Storage, networking equipment’s with Lab infrastructure management
• Providing technical support to various teams, including trouble shooting and resolving technical issues, at customer site.
• Network cabling, rack and stack servers, cabling and labeling documentation, TOR switch configuration,
• Strong knowledge of Prototype chassis, fan assembly, PSU, Memory DIMM, PCI risers, storage controllers, network adapters, drive cages, backplanes, and various supported controllers/adapters.
• Remote support - Provide remote support for hardware and software issues, including installation, configuring and maintenance of hardware
• Build up and maintain application servers for testing: Host and VM, DHCP, PXE, LDAP servers.
• Working knowledge of OS (Linux / Windows / VMware) system level concepts.
• Debugging Knowledge of Network/Storage/Servers issues
• Audit procedures & Ordering hardware in and shipping to other sites.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
• Co-ordinate with hardware repair vendors for rework and updates for all equipment needed for test teams
• Understanding of Virtualization concept and knowledge on VMware vCente, Hyper-V, KVM & PROXMOX
• Good Understanding and working knowledge on Installing, configuring, and debugging Enterprise Operating Systems – Windows, ESXi, Linux
• Good Understanding and working knowledge of driver, hardware, firmware and components
• To set up the servers for debugging the issues for the development team on need basis.
• Good analytical, problem solving & debugging skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
