Infrastructure Lead

As an Infrastructure Lead/Architect at our customer's team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions. Your role will involve driving cloud and data platform initiatives, ensuring system scalability and security, and serving as a technical leader in shaping the backbone of mission-critical applications. Your key responsibilities will include architecting, designing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, and IAM. You will lead the end-to-end design and deployment of high-performance, cost-efficient Databricks data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives. Additionally, you will develop and manage data integration workflows using modern ETL tools in combination with Python and Java scripting. Collaboration with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams will be crucial in building resilient, highly available, and compliant systems aligned with operational standards. As a technical leader and mentor, you will guide cross-functional teams through infrastructure design decisions and conduct in-depth code and architecture reviews. You will oversee project planning, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure projects are executed on-time and within budget. Proactively identifying infrastructure bottlenecks, recommending process improvements, and driving automation initiatives will also be part of your role. Maintaining comprehensive documentation and upholding security and compliance standards across the infrastructure landscape will be essential. The ideal candidate for this position should have 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or related roles. Extensive expertise with AWS cloud services, including AWS certifications, is highly regarded. Deep experience with Databricks, strong programming and scripting proficiency in Python and Java, and advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools are required. A proven track record in project management, leading cross-functional teams, familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Infrastructure as Code tools, exceptional problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and both written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with big data platforms, a background in regulated environments, and knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS container orchestration.,
