Infrastructure Lead

You will be responsible for managing and supporting IT infrastructure with a strong focus on virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backup and recovery systems, Azure cloud services, systems monitoring (SolarWinds), and enterprise storage (NetApp). Your main goal will be to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance across on-premises and cloud environments. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining day-to-day IT operations and ensuring the availability of business-critical systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and infrastructure issues while monitoring system performance and proactively identifying potential issues. In terms of virtualization, you will manage and maintain VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments. Your tasks will involve virtual machine provisioning, migrations, and resource optimization to ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations are in place. For cloud services, you will deploy, manage, and support Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking, and backups. You will work with Azure Active Directory, Azure Monitor, and related services while implementing cost optimization and security best practices in cloud environments. You will also be responsible for administering enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or similar tools. Managing backup schedules, performing recovery testing, and ensuring data protection compliance will be part of your daily tasks. Monitoring backup jobs and troubleshooting failures promptly will also be crucial. In terms of monitoring, you will configure and maintain SolarWinds monitoring tools. Creating and managing dashboards, alerts, and reports will be essential for providing proactive support and performance tuning based on monitoring insights. Regarding storage management, you will maintain and administer NetApp storage systems (ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, etc.). Allocating and managing LUNs, volumes, and shares while monitoring storage health, capacity, and performance will also be part of your responsibilities. Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator, NetApp are desirable for this position.,
