Infrastructure Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization's business goals.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability of the infrastructure.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure
• Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on performance and security.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure hardware, software, and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes.
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's infrastructure from potential threats and breaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to IT infrastructure.
• Conduct regular capacity assessments to anticipate future infrastructure needs and plan for scalability.
• Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and improve overall efficiency.
• Develop and maintain a robust disaster recovery plan to minimize downtime in the event of a system failure or disaster.
• Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure the effectiveness of the recovery plan.
• Collaborate with other departments to align infrastructure initiatives with overall IT and business strategies.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and communication within the IT team and across departments.
• Should have experience of setting up cloud infrastructure grounds up for an organization IAAS, PAAS & PAAS & manage the multi cloud.
• Ensuring infra uptimes by 99.99 with enough resilience built in at infra level.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, with a proven track record of successful leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional) are a plus.
• Exposure to security aspects on securing infrastructure at network & compute level
• BFSI experience will be preferred.
• Amazon AWS Cloud Experience is required.
