Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization's business goals. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability of the infrastructure. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on performance and security. Collaborate with vendors to procure hardware, software, and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes. Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's infrastructure from potential threats and breaches. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to IT infrastructure. Conduct regular capacity assessments to anticipate future infrastructure needs and plan for scalability. Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and improve overall efficiency. Develop and maintain a robust disaster recovery plan to minimize downtime in the event of a system failure or disaster. Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure the effectiveness of the recovery plan. Collaborate with other departments to align infrastructure initiatives with overall IT and business strategies. Foster a culture of collaboration and communication within the IT team and across departments. Should have experience of setting up cloud infrastructure grounds up for an organization IAAS, PAAS & PAAS & manage the multi cloud. Ensuring infra uptimes by 99.99 with enough resilience built in at infra level. Must Have Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, with a proven track record of successful leadership. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional) are a plus. Exposure to security aspects on securing infrastructure at network & compute level BFSI experience will be preferred. Amazon AWS Cloud Experience is required.
