**Role Title:** Data Center Build Architect ?? Cisco ACI (Level 7)**Experience Level:** 8??18 Years (with 5+ years in Cisco ACI Implementation) **Role Overview**The Data Center Build Architect will be responsible for the **end-to-end architecture, design, and deployment** of Data Center networks leveraging Cisco ACI technology. This role requires deep expertise in Routing & Switching and ACI fabrics, with hands-on leadership experience in large-scale transformation and migration initiatives. The position focuses on building high-performing, secure and scalable DC network infrastructures aligned with enterprise standards. **Key Responsibilities*** Define and implement **ACI fabric architecture**, including APIC configuration, tenant design, contracts and policies.* Integrate ACI with external networks (MPLS, SDN, Firewalls, Load Balancers) and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).* Oversee network build and deployment activities, ensuring compliance with architecture standards and security baselines.* Drive **transition and handover** to operations, ensuring readiness documentation, monitoring, and SOP completeness.* Support automation of deployment activities using Ansible or Python-based workflows.* Conduct design and implementation reviews, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.* Collaborate with security, platform, and cloud teams for end-to-end integration of DC network services.* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to build and operations engineers.**Required Technical Skills*** Expertise in **Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)** ?? design, build, and operations.* Strong background in **Routing and Switching (CCIE-level)** with deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, and MPLS.* Experience in integrating ACI with **firewalls, load balancers, and cloud interconnects**.* Knowledge of **DCN automation tools** (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and configuration management practices.* Understanding of data center security, segmentation, and compliance controls.* Experience in **data center migration, transformation, and greenfield build** projects. **Professional Competencies*** Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Capable of translating complex architecture into executable designs.* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.* Experience in global project delivery and client-facing transformation programs. **Certifications (Preferred)*** **Cisco CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise)** ?? mandatory/preferred.* Cisco ACI Specialist or equivalent advanced ACI certification. **Expected Deliverables*** Build Guides, Configuration Templates, and SOPs* Network Migration Strategy and Implementation Plan* Handover Documentation for Operations Qualification 15 years full time education
