Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. Must have skills : Micro Focus Operations Manager i Good to have skills : No Function Specialty Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Open Text OBM, SiteScope, and APM/BPM Administrator to oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of our IT monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous performance, availability, and reliability of IT systems and applications through effective use of monitoring solutions.________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Bridge Manager (OBM): Administer and manage Open Text Operations Bridge Manager (OBM) for centralized event and performance monitoring. Configure OBM event correlation rules, monitoring policies, and integrations with third-party systems. Conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching of the OBM environment. Develop and maintain OBM dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support IT operations. Troubleshoot and resolve OBM-related technical issues and provide root cause analysis.SiteScope: Administer and configure SiteScope for monitoring IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and applications. Create and manage SiteScope templates, monitors, and alert thresholds. Perform routine health checks, backups, and upgrades of SiteScope environments. Integrate SiteScope with other monitoring tools and platforms for enhanced visibility.Application Performance Management (APM/BPM): Manage the deployment and configuration of Application Performance Management (APM) and Business Process Monitoring (BPM) tools. Monitor application performance and end-user experience through synthetic transactions. Analyze APM metrics to identify and address application bottlenecks. Generate actionable insights and share performance reports with business and technical stakeholders.________________________________________ Qualifications and SkillsRequired Skills: Proven experience in administering Open TextOBM, SiteScope, and APM/BPM solutions. Strong knowledge of monitoring protocols (SNMP, WMI, JMX) and APIs for integration. Proficiency in creating and managing monitoring policies, templates, and alerts. Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (servers, applications, databases, networks). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation tasks. Understanding of ITIL processes and incident, problem, and change management workflows.Preferred Skills: Open Textcertifications in OBM, SiteScope, or APM/BPM. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their monitoring solutions. Knowledge of other monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.________________________________________Experience Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in IT monitoring administration roles.
