Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Network Engineer Tools, Platform & Automation is responsible for the design, development, and lifecycle management of network engineering tools, automation frameworks, and platform architectures that enable efficient operations, observability, and security across enterprise networks.This role bridges traditional network engineering, DevOps automation, and security architecture, focusing on the modernization of network infrastructure through programmability, telemetry, and integration with ITSM, SIEM, and monitoring systems.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Tools & Platform EngineeringDesign, implement, and maintain network management and monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, Netcure, Statseeker, Cisco DNA Center, ThousandEyes, NetBox, Zabbix, LogicMonitor, etc.).Develop network observability and telemetry pipelines using SNMP, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, and streaming telemetry.Integrate network tools with ITSM (ServiceNow), CMDB, and security monitoring systems.Architect scalable, redundant, and API-driven network platform solutions across on-prem and cloud.Network Automation & OrchestrationDesign and deploy automation frameworks for configuration management, provisioning, and compliance using:Ansible, Python, Terraform, or Cisco NSO.Build automation pipelines for device onboarding, config backups, and network audits.Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).Standardize multi-vendor automation (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Arista, etc.).Develop custom scripts/tools for API integrations, reporting, and remediation.Network Security IntegrationCollaborate with security teams to ensure secure automation and tool access (RBAC, API tokens, certificates).Integrate network tools with SIEMs (Splunk, QRadar, etc.) for event correlation and threat detection.Automate network security policies, firewall rule validations, and compliance checks.Support Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) and SASE/SSE integration efforts.Maintain configuration integrity and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO, and internal security policies.Documentation & GovernanceCreate detailed design documents (HLD/LLD), automation playbooks, and operational runbooks.Maintain architecture diagrams, integration workflows, and version-controlled repositories.Enforce platform governance, change control, and security best practices across all network tools.Automation & ScriptingProficiency in Python, Ansible, and Terraform for network automation.Experience integrating automation pipelines with Git and CI/CD workflows.Monitoring & ToolsStrong experience with one or more tools:SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, LogicMonitor, NetBox, Zabbix, Nagios, AppDynamics, or Cisco DNA Center.Hands-on with log analytics and telemetry (SNMPv3, syslog, streaming telemetry).Qualifications:Educational Qualifications:BE, BTech.Qualification15 years full time education
