Infra and DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: You will be part of the Infra & DevOps team within DWS India, responsible for providing shared services across build, release, and QA Automation space. Your main responsibilities will include building and maintaining non-prod and prod environments, setting up alerting and monitoring systems, and transitioning projects to L2 support teams post Go Live. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders such as client Product Owners, Digital Design Organisation, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure program delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Drive automation, including automated build, test, and deployment processes - Support and manage Data/Digital systems architecture across environments in alignment with the architectural vision set by the Digital Design Organisation - Facilitate integration across systems to ensure service layer coherence with the core technology stack - Monitor digital architecture for health and identify necessary corrective actions - Act as a technical authority, establishing architectural standards on specific platforms - Incorporate security into the overall architecture and ensure adherence to security principles and industry standards - Collaborate with other technical areas, conduct technology research, and evaluate software for maintaining the development environment - Work with the QA function to drive Continuous Testing by integrating QA Automation suites with available toolsets Qualifications Required: - Proven technical hands-on experience in Linux/Unix - Experience in Infrastructure Architecture, including Clustering, High Availability, Performance Tuning, Backup, and Recovery - Hands-on experience with DevOps build and deploy tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT/Bit Bucket/Artifactory - Knowledge of automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible - Hands-on experience with Google Cloud platform and knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem - Proficiency in code and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, or JS - Deep understanding and experience in Docker technology, OpenShift, and Kubernetes containerization - Ability to deploy complex solutions based on IaaS, PaaS, and cloud-based infrastructures - Basic understanding of networking and firewalls - Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an agile environment - Ability to deliver technical solutions independently with minimal supervision - Collaborative nature and ability to work with various teams - Proficiency in automation tools and strong knowledge of the automation landscape - Understanding of security requirements and ability to drive compliance - Fluent in English (written/verbal) Company Details: The company strives for a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
