Infra and DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: As an Infra and DevOps Engineer at DWS India in Pune, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch shared services across build, release, and QA Automation domains. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance project delivery by building and maintaining non-prod and prod environments, setting up alerting and monitoring systems, and overseeing the transition of projects to L2 support teams post-Go Live. Key Responsibilities: - Drive automation processes including automated build, test, and deployment - Support and manage Data/Digital systems architecture in alignment with the architectural vision set by the Digital Design Organization - Facilitate integration across systems to ensure seamless service layer integration - Monitor digital architecture for health and identify necessary corrective actions - Act as a technical authority to enforce architectural standards on specific platforms - Incorporate security measures into the architecture and ensure adherence to security principles and industry standards - Collaborate with other technical areas, conduct technology research, and evaluate software for maintaining the development environment - Work with the QA function to drive Continuous Testing by integrating QA Automation suites with available toolsets Qualification Required: - Proven hands-on experience in Linux/Unix - Expertise in Infrastructure Architecture including Clustering, High Availability, Performance and Tuning, Backup and Recovery - Hands-on experience with DevOps build and deploy tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT/Bit Bucket/Artifactory - Knowledge of automation/configuration management tools like Ansible - Experience with Google Cloud platform and Hadoop ecosystem - Proficiency in code and scripting languages like Python, Perl, Ruby, or JS - In-depth understanding and experience in Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes containerization - Ability to deploy complex solutions based on IaaS, PaaS, and cloud-based infrastructures - Fundamental knowledge of networking and firewalls - Familiarity with best practices and IT operations in an agile environment - Capability to independently deliver technical solutions with minimal supervision - Collaborative nature to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders - Flexibility to adapt and make things happen - Proficiency in coding, scripting, automation, and tooling - Strong understanding of security requirements and compliance - Fluent in English (written/verbal) Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank Group fosters a culture of excellence, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
