Job Description

Role Overview

The IT Associate will support the companys technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth daily operations. This includes providing technical support, managing hardware/software, maintaining network security, and assisting in system efficiency to keep departments productive.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support:
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; escalate complex problems.
System & Device Management:
Set up/configure devices; manage user accounts, permissions, and updates.
Network & Infrastructure:
Monitor LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls; support VPN/VoIP.
Data Security & Compliance:
Enforce security protocols, backups, and data protection.
Documentation & Asset Management:
Maintain IT inventory, software licenses, incident logs; coordinate procurement.
Collaboration & Support:
Assist HR/Operations for onboarding/offboarding; support virtual/on-site meetings; participate in IT projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
1–2 years IT support or system administration experience.
Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Office 365, Active Directory, VPNs, firewalls, antivirus tools.
Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and communication skills.
BPO/247 operations experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ticketing tools (JIRA, Freshservice, Zoho Desk).
Basic cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and helpdesk best practices.
