Information Security Analyst Trainee

As an Information Security Trainee at Monotype, you will have the opportunity to perform security investigations, coordinate breach response, and maintain the security monitoring infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include analyzing threat information, synthesizing intelligence data, identifying vulnerabilities, assessing cyber activities, and responding to urgent security situations. You will also assist in malware remediation, configuration auditing, and collaborate with internal IT teams and tech vendors. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze threat information from various sources and agencies, and draw insights to understand possible implications. - Identify vulnerabilities and potential for exploitation in network, systems, applications, and cloud security, with a focus on AWS. - Assist in crisis response, mitigation activities, and recovery approaches to ensure information security. - Investigate and analyze response activities, and support IT in malware remediation and configuration auditing. Qualifications Required: - Understanding of network, systems, application, and cloud security, particularly in AWS. - Familiarity with information security concepts and technical communication skills. - Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities. - Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information security, or equivalent.
