What you get to do in this role: Lead the user-centered design process for our internal observability products, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers from concept to delivery. Conduct user research activities, including interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability studies with internal engineering, SRE, and support teams to deeply understand their observability workflows, pain points, and data requirements. Skills: 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or Data Visualization Designer, ideally working directly within product and engineering organizations on technical or enterprise-grade products. A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and demonstrating your ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable user interfaces, preferably within cloud engineering & infrastructure . Proven experience conducting user research with technical users (e.g., engineers, SREs) and the ability to translate their specialized needs into effective design solutions for data-intensive applications. Solid understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices, with a strong emphasis on data visualization principles for technical audiences analyzing complex systems. Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
