Informatica Developer

As an Informatica Developer at Viraaj HR Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter. Collaborating with data architects and business analysts, you will gather requirements for data integration projects. Your role will involve data mapping and transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency, as well as maintaining and optimizing existing ETL workflows for improved performance. Additionally, you will conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, implement best practices for data governance and compliance, and develop technical documentation for ETL processes. Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL processes to promptly resolve issues, engaging in performance tuning of Informatica mappings and sessions, and working within a team to deliver high-quality data solutions on time are also key responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Informatica Developer. Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, proficiency in SQL, experience with data warehousing concepts, and familiarity with ETL processes and data cleansing practices are essential qualifications. Additionally, having a solid understanding of database systems such as Oracle or SQL Server, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience with version control tools (e.g., Git), knowledge of data profiling tools and techniques, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously are also desired. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, certifications in Informatica or related technologies, and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed will be advantageous for this role.
