Job Description

Assistance in TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax) Filings:

Support the team in the preparation, review, and timely filing of TDS and GST returns.
Assist in the reconciliation of tax data with books of accounts.
Help track and ensure timely payment of taxes, managing input tax credits, and resolving discrepancies.

Support in Monthly Book Closure Activities:

Contribute to the month-end closing process by compiling, organizing, and verifying financial data.
Assist in preparing journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliation of key accounts (e.g., bank, vendor, customer accounts).
Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all transactions and adjustments.

MIS (Management Information System) Reporting and Variance Analysis:

Aid in the preparation of monthly MIS reports for senior management, including performance summaries, cost analysis, and key financial metrics.
Participate in variance analysis to compare actuals against budget/forecast and help identify trends or anomalies.
Work closely with different departments to collect and interpret data for reporting purposes.

Handling Ad-Hoc Financial Requests:

Provide support on various financial and operational ad-hoc projects or data requirements as needed by the finance team or other departments.
This may include conducting specific analyses, preparing presentations, or assisting with internal audits and process improvements.
