Indirect Tax Manager

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Indirect Tax professional having either CA / CMA / CS / MBA Finance or LLB with more than 10 years of experience in Indirect Taxation in ERP (SAP) environment. Experience in Big Four consulting and / or large manufacturing entity will be preferred. You will need to respond to queries related to indirect taxation raised by the tax department in an appropriate and timely manner. Assist senior management to ensure timely action is taken on appeals, and pursue effective resolution, compilation, and spread work for the same. Additionally, you will assist senior management in liaising with lawyers and coordinate to ensure that the company is appropriately represented before statutory bodies and courts. Implementation of an effective documentation system for maintaining documents related to return filings, replies, litigations, etc., and ensuring that the documents are easily retrievable will also be part of your responsibilities. You will manage the performance of the team and ensure that the team is working in line with the organizational value system. What You Need To Make a Difference: - CA / CMA / CS/ MBA Finance or LLB - 10+ years proven experience in Big 4 Companies / Power / Manufacturing companies. - Excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with various stakeholders internally and externally. The profile will require you to take care of Indirect Tax Compliance, effective Indirect tax management and deft litigation. Additionally, you will be responsible for Tax Strategy, identifying tax planning opportunities, and implementing the same. The profile entails some travel across various States in India.
