Indirect Tax Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Tax and Finance teams to ensure GST compliance for Indian entities

Assist in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C)

Validate vendor invoices for GST credit eligibility

Support in raising monthly Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) invoices

Prepare journal entries with appropriate documentation

Coordinate with teams like Logistics and Global Trade to gather data for tax filings

Assist in preparing submissions and clarifying queries during representations before GST authorities

Provide reconciliations as required for compliance and reporting

Maintain documentation for GST refunds and other indirect tax matters

Support ad-hoc tax assignments and compliance initiatives as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA / CPA preferred but not mandatory).

2-3 years of experience in accounting with strong exposure to GST

Basic understanding of Indian GST laws and indirect tax compliance

Strong coordination and documentation skills

Familiarity with tax return preparation and reconciliation processes

Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems preferred

Ability to work collaboratively across departments
