Indirect Buyer

As a member of the Indirect Procurement Team at Milacron, you will be responsible for the procurement of Indirect Materials, excluding production parts necessary for machine building. Your role will involve ensuring timely delivery of assigned materials to internal departments, conducting cost analysis to determine the right purchasing cost, and monitoring costs for all associated suppliers. Additionally, you will be tasked with supplier analysis, market scanning for supplier availability, creating alternate vendor options as needed, and evaluating existing supplier performance based on various criteria such as rejection rate, rework issues, delivery issues, stock levels, and supplier capacity. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely delivery of assigned materials - Conduct cost analysis for purchasing indirect materials - Monitor costs for affiliated suppliers - Analyze supplier performance and create alternate vendor options - Implement cost reduction initiatives at the supplier end or in internal processes - Maintain commodity-wise inventory control - Address and resolve commodity-wise quality issues - Prepare data, MIS reports, and enter data into ERP system Qualifications Required: - Graduation in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Science, or Commerce - 5 to 8 years of work experience - Knowledge of Factory Acts, Labour Laws, Contractual Laws & Obligations is preferred About Milacron: Milacron is a global leader in the plastic technology and processing industry with a full-line product portfolio including hot runner systems, injection molding, and extrusion equipment.
