Job Description As a member of Dr Reddys Foundation (DRF), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering socially and economically vulnerable groups, your role will involve helping students enhance their skills and competencies through specialized training, particularly focusing on Persons with Speech and Hearing Impairment (SHI). Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting training sessions for aspirants on an integrated module encompassing MS Office, Basic Mathematics, Soft Skills, and Work Readiness. These modules will be taught using sign language for Persons with SHI, with assistance from subject trainers. - Engaging in pre and post counselling sessions for aspirants, utilizing sign language for effective communication with Persons with SHI, in collaboration with the Area Head/Centre Coordinator. - Assisting the centre in carrying out assessments of the aspirants, employing sign language when interacting with Persons with SHI. - Creating and publishing the comprehensive Training plan/calendar for the centre. - Collaborating with guest lecturers and industry professionals to organize field visits as part of the sector readiness module, and sensitizing employers towards hiring Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). - Providing support to aspirants during their initial period at the workplace post-placement. - Enhancing the communication capabilities of the centre staff in engaging with SHI Persons. Qualifications - A Graduate/Post Graduate with 3-4 years of training experience is preferred. Proficiency in sign language is essential for this role. - Proficient in Indian Sign Language. - Demonstrated training skills in educating Speech and Hearing Impaired individuals. - Competency in computer applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
