Role Overview: You will be responsible for helping students build competency through training, especially focusing on Persons with Speech and Hearing Impairment (SHI). Your role will involve training the aspirants on an integrated module which includes MS Office, Basic Mathematics, Soft skills, and Work readiness. These modules will be taught through sign language for Persons with SHI with the assistance of subject trainers. You will also participate in pre and post counselling of aspirants, support in assessing the aspirants, publish the training plan/calendar of the centre, network with guest lecturers/industry for field visits, sensitize employers towards employing Persons with Disabilities, handhold aspirants at the workplace post-placement, and build the capacity of the centre staff in communicating with SHI Persons.
