Job Description

As an ICM developer within Global Incentive Compensations (GIC), you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing the systems used for compensating the Salesforce sales organization, as well as tools used by our internal teams to perform their job functions. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with hands-on experience in Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess both strong technical skills and functional expertise to design, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures that meet business user requirements and comply with general IT and Finance audit guidelines. In addition to development, the individual may need to support the QA team to minimize bugs in production as well as document testing efforts for SOX purposes. You would be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, executing test strategies, and managing defect tracking and resolution. Essential Functions: Design scalable solutions and develop rules and formulas in Spiff to support various business processes within the Sales Compensation function Create detailed technical design documents and business process documents for complex integrations and workflows. Develop and execute test plans for ensuring that integrations, processes and configurations are accurate. Job Requirements: Strong understanding of incentive compensation models, including commission structures, bonus programs, and sales performance metrics Understanding of database infrastructure and database concepts Ability to provide regular analysis and insights into compensation plans and recommend improvements based on system data Develop and execute test plans for ensuring that integrations, processes and configurations are accurate Strong analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities Ability to translate and explain technical processes to business partners Strong commitment to good engineering discipline and process including code reviews and delivering unit tests in conjunction with feature delivery Ability to make decisions and work with minimal direction even under pressure Familiarity with Agile (scrum) framework is preferred Education & Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience is required. 5 to 7 years of experience is preferred. Strong experience with compensation systems (Spiff, Everstage, Captivate IQ, Varicent, or Xactly) Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience
