Job Description

Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management

o Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment across various environments. o Ensure integration, testing, and deployment processes are streamlined and efficient. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

o Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

o Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Cloud Infrastructure Management

o Manage cloudbased environments, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.

o Optimize cloud resources and costs through monitoring and automated scaling

o Monitoring and Logging

o Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.

o Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

o Collaboration and Support

o Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and support deployments.

o Provide guidance and mentorship to juniors and promote best practices in DevOps.

o Security and Compliance

o Implement security best practices in DevOps processes, including secret management, access controls, and vulnerability scanning.

o Ensure that all systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

o Automation and Scripting

o Develop automation scripts for routine tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

o Continuously seek opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.

Mandatory skill sets

6 to 9 years of experience in implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the DevOps processes, tools, and practices Experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related roles.

Handson experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Deep understanding of DevOps principles and best practices. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.

Knowledge of network and security configurations in cloud environments. Certification in AWS, Azure, or other relevant platforms is a plus.

Preferred skill sets

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages. Deep understanding of DevOps principles and best practices. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing. Knowledge of network and security configurations in cloud environments. Certification in AWS, Azure, or other relevant platforms is a plus.
