Job Description

The Cloud-to-Cloud Backup team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Protection Team. Youll be part of the team building the next generation of our Cloud-to-Cloud Backup product, which serves to protect our customers data in SaaS applications, such as Microsoft 365, against accidental or malicious data loss, for purposes of backup, compliance, and disaster recovery.

What youll be working on

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of features using Azure cloud technologies, C#, and DevOps practices
Develop new microservices for interacting with different types of data from cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.
Find and fix bugs in production and development environments
Uphold high standards for code quality and architecture, including the use of SOLID design principles
Mentor team members in design and development best practices
Thoughtfully give, and gracefully receive, rigorous code reviews
Develop and interpret metrics to monitor production system performance
On-call rotation for the services your team is responsible for
Document and communicate research and results

What you bring to the role

Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years of hands-on software development experience in C#.
Strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies, including Azure App Services, Azure Storage and Azure DevOps
Extensive experience in C# programming and .NET framework
Experience with React and Next.js is beneficial
Experience building and using Docker containers
Proficiency in using Git
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code
Excellent communication skills
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis
Curiosity and drive to learn and investigate unfamiliar systems
Enthusiasm and willingness to communicate via video-conferencing and text-based chat
