Import Export Documentation Executive

As an experienced Export Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to pre and post documentation for shipping processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing Export Invoices, Packing Lists, BL Drafts, and other related documents - Generating Insurance Certificates through online portals and ensuring the maintenance of sufficient insured amounts - Handling hazardous cargo by understanding various Haz Class, Packing Groups, and preparing Dangerous Goods Declarations (DGD) - Communicating and coordinating with various stakeholders including Factory, CHA, Forwarding Agent, Transporter, Shipping Lines, and Customers - Negotiating Air or Sea freight rates with forwarders, shipping lines, or CHA - Checking and approving SB Checklists, BOE Checklists, AWB Drafts, BL Drafts, etc. - Coordinating with freight forwarders for flight or vessel bookings - Arranging courier shipments through DHL or FedEx - Knowledge of handling Letter of Credit (LC) Shipments - Ensuring compliance with SCOMET and Narcotics requirements for each shipment - Resolving export customer queries efficiently - Arranging transport for FCL shipments and factory stuffing - Applying for Preferential and Non-preferential Certificates of Origins (COOs) online - Handling multiple shipments simultaneously with efficiency - Sending final shipment documents to customers and tracking cargo until delivery - Maintaining accurate records for all export shipments, including EGM and RODTEP benefit status - Knowledge of RODTEP Scrip generation and other DGFT / ICEGATE applications - Arranging appropriate packing based on the nature of shipments, especially for dangerous goods - Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, including HS codes, tariffs, and taxes - Maintaining accurate records, reports, import data, and compliance documents - Collaborating with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and procurement for alignment and efficiency - Staying updated on changes in import/export regulations and company policies Additionally, the job type is Full-time, Permanent, and the work location is In person.,
