Implementation Analyst - Data Control

Role Description

A Market Leader in the provision of Financial Solutions to Global Markets is looking for anexperienced client-facing Senior Business Analyst, supporting projects in the Post-Trade Reconciliations domain. This is a permanent role responsible for delivering Broadridge solutions with a focus on the Data Control product. The candidate will play an essential role in ensuring the delivery efforts are fully aligned with the customer's business requirements.

Candidates must;

• Be able to own and lead various phases of the product delivery including Scope Definition and User Testing, while guiding and commanding the respect of our clients and internal stakeholders throughout the process.
• Be confident and self-motivated with excellent communication skills, demonstrating a strong track record of successful product delivery either on the client or vendor side.
• Be familiar with Reconciliations products and have an excellent understanding of Post-Trade Cash and Securities reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Work on both internal and external (Client) projects, gathering requirements and defining the functionality required.
• Document decisions, procedures, processes, and functional requirements to ensure consistent internal understanding of product features, capabilities, and evolution
• Lead the identification, analysis, and documentation of the current- and future-state business processes that require product development
• Assess the cost-benefit profile of potential functionality to aid the business in rational prioritization
• Develop and maintain a high-quality backlog of functional requirements to drive product development
• Develop, improve and oversee the review and validation of written specifications with the subject matter experts, development team members, and other partners to ensure on-time completion with all necessary sign-offs
• Identify better ways of requirements gathering by refining the existing requirements gathering documentation to make the scoping phase easier and to ensure all details are captured upfront
• Be part of the Agile transition journey, creating templates for user stories that conform to standard customer requirements. Help define the Minimal Viable product for BRx Match;

Competencies:

A successful candidate for this role will exhibit:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience
• Experience working on a Post Trade Reconciliation platform such as IntelliMatch or TLM
• Understanding of various industry standard data formats, in particular SWIFT MT ISO 15022 & MX ISO 20022
• A resourceful self-starter who is comfortable interacting and coordinating with numerous internal and external partners; able to work effectively on a consistent basis with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's Degree related to business, finance, or information technology is preferred
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
• You should have full cycle Product Management experience (inception through delivery)
• Strong and proactive communicator
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through managing multiple tasks and project deliverables in a deadline driven environment
• A willingness to be flexible, prioritizing problems that are most pressing and using the most appropriate tools
• Technical writing skills
• Jira experience a plus
• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage time appropriately
• Ability to articulate both business and product issues in writing as well as verbally
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts and adapt accordingly
