About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with around 3 years of experience in developing, testing, and deploying Android applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building scalable apps, integrating third-party APIs, and publishing apps to the Google Play Store.

Responsibilities

Design and develop
Android applications
using
Java
.
Integrate
RESTful APIs
,
third-party SDKs
(e.g., login, maps, analytics).
Manage app builds,
signing, and deployment to the Google Play Store
, including handling app versioning, release notes, and compliance with Google Play policies.
Implement
offline storage
solutions using
Room DB/SQLite
.
Ensure smooth user experience with
Material Design guidelines
and responsive UI.
Work with
Firebase
for push notifications, crash reporting, and analytics.
Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
Participate in
code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
to maintain high code quality.
Stay updated with the latest Android trends, Jetpack libraries, and tools.

Must-Have Skills

Strong proficiency in
Java
In-depth knowledge of
Android SDK
and
Jetpack Components
(ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, WorkManager).
Experience with
Retrofit/OkHttp/Volley
for API calls.
Knowledge of
Room DB/SQLite
for data persistence.
Experience with
third-party SDKs and APIs
(e.g. Google Maps).
Strong understanding of
UI/UX principles
and
custom views
.
Hands-on experience with
app signing, build process, and publishing to Google Play Store
.
Familiarity with
Git
for version control.
Knowledge of
Dependency Injection frameworks
(Hilt/Dagger/Koin).
Exposure to
Unit Testing and UI Testing
(JUnit, Espresso).
