Immediate Need - Chartered Accountant - Pharmaceutical

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Ind AS/IFRS.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely closing of books of accounts.
  
• Analyze variances in actuals vs budgets and report on financial performance.
  

2. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
  
• Coordinate with tax consultants/auditors during tax assessments and audits.
  
• Ensure compliance with pharma-specific regulations (NPPA, DPCO, etc., if applicable).
  

3. Costing & Inventory Management

• Work closely with production and supply chain teams for product costing.
  
• Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), raw material pricing, and cost control initiatives.
  
• Implement standard costing systems and perform variance analysis.
  

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in annual budgeting and financial forecasting exercises.
  
• Monitor departmental budgets and highlight deviations.
  

5. Internal Controls & Audit

• Implement and maintain internal financial controls as per SOX/ICFR.
  
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
  
• Conduct risk assessments and suggest mitigation strategies.
  

6. ERP & Systems

• Work on ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally for financial and inventory management.
  
• Support automation of financial processes and digital transformation initiatives.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant

  (CA) [1–5+ years] of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in the

  pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing

  sector preferred.
• Strong knowledge of

  Ind AS, IFRS, GST, Income Tax, TDS

  , and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with

  ERP systems

  (SAP/Oracle).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools.
  
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Competencies:

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical sector-specific norms (e.g.,
