We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for a modern Java-based enterprise platform. This role plays a critical part in enabling rapid, reliable, and repeatable software delivery by establishing robust deployment workflows, provisioning environments, and supporting development and QA teams across the SDLC.
Key ResponsibilitiesCI/CD Pipeline ManagementDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all application components.Integrate pipelines with GitHub for version control and Artifactory for build artifact management.Ensure fast and reliable feedback loops with appropriate testing stages, quality gates, and rollback strategies.Infrastructure AutomationAutomate the provisioning and configuration of QA, UAT, and pre-production environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.Implement and maintain configuration management to ensure consistency and reproducibility across environments.Deployment AutomationAutomate build, test, and deployment workflows for Java-based microservices and backend components.Ensure deployment pipelines are scalable, resilient, and auditable.Environment SupportCollaborate with development, QA, and platform teams to support infrastructure, troubleshoot deployment issues, and optimize performance.Monitor and improve deployment success rates, pipeline execution times, and system availability.Required QualificationsProfessional Experience5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Build/Release Engineer, or in a similar role.Hands-on experience supporting Java-based application stacks in enterprise environments.Toolchain & Technical SkillsExpertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy.Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Experience with Docker containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (AKS).Familiarity with artifact repositories like Artifactory or Nexus.Process & CollaborationExperience in Agile/Scrum environments and working with cross-functional squads.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for deployment and infrastructure issues.Excellent documentation and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms (Azure), particularly for deployment automation and environment provisioning.Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Azure Managed Grafana).Knowledge of secure DevOps practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
