IELTS Trainer (Offline)

Job Summary

Lead in-person IELTS preparation classes at our Thiruvalla branch. Responsible for developing lesson plans, conducting live lectures, administering and evaluating mock tests, and offering targeted feedback to help students achieve their desired band scores.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured IELTS training sessions covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules
• Create and implement lesson plans tailored to learners’ proficiency and goals .
• Design, conduct, and mark mock tests; offer detailed feedback
• Track student progress, maintain performance and attendance records British Council
• Stay updated on the latest IELTS exam formats and scoring criteria
• Offer exam-taking strategies, time-management tips, and anxiety-handling guidance .
• Collaborate with other faculty to continuously improve training materials

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience teaching IELTS or similar test prep.
• IELTS band score ≥ 7.0 preferred .
• Preferred certifications: TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or similar.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, plus good local-language communication skills.

Essential Skills

• Strong lesson planning & curriculum development.
• Classroom management and ability to handle diverse learner groups.
• Ability to design and evaluate mock exams and student assessments.
• Effective feedback delivery and student motivation skills.
• Familiarity with English language software or LMS tools is an advantage.

Employment Details

• Position Type: Full‑time
• Location: In‑person at Thiruvalla branch.
• Compensation: Competitive (₹15,000–₹20,000/month typical range in Kerala)
• Schedule: Daytime hours, occasional weekends for extra batches or mock tests.
