Job Title: IELTS Teacher / IELTS Instructor Location: Jalandhar Department: English Language Training Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IELTS Teacher to prepare students for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, familiarity with the IELTS test format (Academic and General Training), and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that improve students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality IELTS preparation classes to students at varying proficiency levels. Plan and structure lessons to meet students’ individual learning goals and the official IELTS band score criteria. Provide regular practice tests, assignments, and feedback to track student progress. Conduct one-on-one speaking practice sessions and give personalized feedback. Teach test-taking strategies and skills specific to the IELTS exam. Maintain student attendance and progress records accurately. Assist in curriculum development and improvement of teaching materials. Stay up to date with changes to the IELTS test format and scoring system. Support students with exam registration processes if needed. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. IELTS Teaching Certification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, TEFL) preferred. Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching IELTS or English as a Second Language (ESL/EFL). Familiarity with the IELTS test format and scoring criteria (Band Descriptors). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students in both physical and virtual classrooms.
