IBM Middleware Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Middleware Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, including strong production support experience in managing and troubleshooting middleware platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in administering Linux/Windows servers along with enterprise middleware tools such as IBM App Connect, IBM API Connect, IBM WebSphere, and IBM MQ.

The role demands a proactive approach to incident management, root cause analysis, and environment stability, making support experience a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and maintain middleware platforms such as IBM App Connect, IBM API Connect, IBM WebSphere, and IBM MQ.
• Provide L2/L3 production support for middleware platforms and enterprise applications.
• Perform incident, problem and change management in line with ITIL practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve middleware and system-level issues in Linux/Unix/Windows environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations and customer teams to diagnose and fix environment issues.
• Monitor system and middleware performance, perform root cause analysis and take preventive actions.
• Handle backup, restore, patching and middleware security hardening.
• Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure systems and applications comply with IT security and audit policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely support for incidents and outages.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, SSL and load balancing.

Preferred Certifications:

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

• ITIL Foundation Certification
