Currently, we are looking for an experienced and passionate IB DP Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. As an IB DP Mathematics Teacher, your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. You will develop and implement a curriculum aligned with IB standards, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. Utilizing innovative teaching methods, you will assess student understanding, provide timely feedback, and monitor progress. Collaboration with fellow educators to refine instructional strategies and participation in continuous professional development initiatives are essential. Additionally, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and personal growth, as well as engaging with parents and school administration to discuss student performance and align on academic goals, are key aspects of the role. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in teaching IB DP Mathematics, with a strong grasp of the IB curriculum and assessment criteria. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is required (Advanced degree preferred). A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an IB Diploma Programme setting is necessary. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students are crucial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with students and parents. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching in an on-site educational environment within India and additional certifications or professional training in education and curriculum design.
