IB Divisional Control Office Assurance / CD, VP

You will be joining the Control Assurance and Risk Identification Team in the Investment Banks Divisional Controls Office (DCO). DCO is responsible for the global control environment across IB and is closely aligned with the business, providing central oversight for Front Office (FO) control framework activities, including design, implementation, ongoing assurance/validation of key FO owned controls. The purpose of the Team is to provide the Investment Bank (IB) with assurance that the Non-Financial Risk control framework is effective. The Team is responsible for testing the design and operating effectiveness of IB Front Office (FO) owned key controls and executing detection tests to stress test the operating effectiveness of key controls. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with Business Controls team, Non-Financial Risk Management team and Front Office for the development of assurance / testing plan for the division - Undertake Design Effectiveness (DE) and Operational Effectiveness (OE) Testing of Front Office owned or operated controls and suggesting remediation actions - Drafting assurance workpapers and publishing detailed testing reports - Walkthrough of the assurance finding, with senior stakeholders and control owners - Deliver high quality Global Governance decks and reporting trends to support the controls oversight - Develops a good understanding of the audit methodology for testing, monitoring and oversight of controls to conclude on effectiveness of controls - Liaise with 2LOD on various initiatives including framework and policy developments **Qualifications Required:** - Strong understanding of control principles and Non-Financial Risk. Experience in Audit, Controls Testing, Assurance, or the Business Control Unit with in-depth knowledge of IB products - Effective communicator, who can write concisely, present effectively, and manage and influence senior stakeholders - Proactive and delivery focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines - Structured and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications The company promotes a culture of continuous learning to aid progression and offers a range of flexible benefits that employees can tailor to suit their needs.,
