Job Description – Hydraulic Technician & Fitter

Position: Hydraulic Technician
Experience: 2-4 Years
Qualification: Diploma / ITI / B.E in Mechanical / Hydraulic-related field
Location: Coimbatore

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic power packs
• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of hydraulic systems
• Strong hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, and manifolds
• Diagnose and rectify hydraulic system issues related to pressure, flow, leakage, and temperature
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic equipment
• Support R&D and development activities for new hydraulic system designs and improvements
• Assist in prototype testing and performance validation
• Provide on-site service support and customer troubleshooting when required
• Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical drawings
• Coordinate with design and production teams for system improvements
• Ensure safety standards and quality procedures are followed

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic cylinders (single-acting, double-acting, telescopic, etc.)
• Well Knowledge in hydraulic power packs and valves
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps (gear, vane, piston) and hydraulic valves (directional, pressure control, flow control)
• Knowledge of hydraulic oils, filtration systems, and contamination control
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic documentation and reporting skills
• Willingness to travel for service and commissioning if required

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
