Job Title: Hydraulic Engineer Water & Sewerage Projects

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Hydraulic Engineer with experience in water supply, sewerage systems, and civil infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of hydraulic systems related to urban and rural water distribution, drainage, and wastewater management. This role requires strong technical knowledge in fluid dynamics, hydraulic modeling, and civil engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop hydraulic systems for water supply, drainage, and sewerage networks.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and simulations using tools ike EPANET, Sewer GEMS, Water GEMS, SWMM, or HEC-RAS.
• Prepare detailed drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure designs comply with local and national regulations, environmental standards, and engineering codes.
• Collaborate with civil and structural engineers on integrated infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site inspections; supervise installation and testing of hydraulic components.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing water/sewerage systems and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government agencies as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering Masters preferred).
• 35+ years of experience in water supply, sewerage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Sound knowledge of fluid mechanics, pipeline design, pump selection, and gravity flow systems.
• Familiarity with municipal guidelines and urban infrastructure planning.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage timelines and project deliverables efficiently.
