HVAC Technician

Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, such as cleaning components, lubricating parts, checking for leaks, and refilling refrigerants to optimize system performance and efficiency.  Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems. This involves identifying worn parts, replacing them, and calibrating systems for optimal function.  Troubleshooting: Inspect systems and identify potential problems, then determine the best course of action to resolve them.  Customer Service: Communicate with customers to explain issues, provide recommendations for maintenance or repairs, and ensure client requirements are met.  Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installations, maintenance, and repairs.  Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and relevant appliance standards and local codes.  Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, technical diagrams, and understanding electrical and mechanical systems.  Problem-Solving: Strong ability to diagnose complex issues and find effective solutions.  Communication: Verbal and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues.  Physical Stamina: Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects (e.g., 50 lbs), and perform physically demanding tasks.  Customer Focus: Dedication to providing excellent customer service and meeting client needs.
