HVAC PURCHASE ENGINEER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HVAC Purchase Engineer to handle procurement activities related to HVAC systems, including ducting, piping, chillers, VRV/VRF units, air handling units (AHUs), ventilation systems, and related electrical and mechanical components. The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge and strong negotiation skills to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand HVAC project requirements and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and procurement plans accordingly.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for HVAC components and equipment.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and negotiate for best prices and terms.
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs), ensure compliance with technical specifications and terms.
• Track and monitor material delivery schedules and coordinate with project and site teams.
• Maintain vendor records and track performance based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Liaise with stores and project teams to manage inventory and resolve delivery issues or material discrepancies.
• Coordinate with consultants and project managers for approvals and technical clarifications.
• Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and quality standards.

Key Skills:

• Good knowledge of HVAC systems and components (chillers, VRV, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, etc.)
• Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic understanding), and ERP systems (if applicable)
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
