Job Description

A Talent Acquisition (TA) Intern's job description includes assisting with the recruitment lifecycle, from posting jobs and screening resumes to scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates. They provide administrative support to the TA team, help maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS), and support employer branding initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and Screening:

    Assist with posting job openings on various platforms and the company website; screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordination:

    Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Communication:

    Communicate with candidates to provide updates and manage logistics.
  • Administration:

    Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Events:

    Participate in career fairs, campus recruitment events, and other recruitment activities.
  • Employer Branding:

    Support initiatives to build the company's employer brand and reputation.
  • Reporting:

    Assist in preparing recruitment reports and metrics.
  • Onboarding:

    Provide support for the onboarding process for new hires.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition and human resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and professional networking sites like LinkedIn is a plus.
