Job Description


We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes within SHPL . The HR Manager will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training & development, payroll, and performance management to ensure a productive and engaging workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Manage end-to-end hiring processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.

Build relationships with recruitment agencies and job portals for efficient hiring.

2. Employee Onboarding & Engagement

Design and execute an effective onboarding process for new hires.

Foster a positive work environment to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Conduct regular employee engagement surveys and implement feedback-based initiatives.

3. Performance Management & Appraisals

Develop and oversee the performance evaluation process.

Work with managers to set performance goals and provide feedback.

Implement career development and succession planning strategies.

4. Training & Development

Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs for employee skill enhancement.

Develop leadership training programs and mentorship initiatives.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.

5. Compensation & Payroll Management

Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.

Manage employee benefits, bonuses, and incentives.

Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend competitive compensation structures.

6. HR Policies, Compliance & Legal Affairs

Develop and update HR policies in line with labor laws and company objectives.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

Handle employee grievances and disputes as per company policies.

Maintain HR records and employee documentation.

7. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution

Act as a bridge between employees and management to resolve workplace issues.

Implement initiatives to promote a healthy and positive workplace culture.

Conduct exit interviews and analyse attrition trends.

8. Workplace Safety & Well-Being

Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment.

Implement employee wellness programs (mental health, work-life balance, etc.).

Conduct workplace safety training and compliance.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage HR systems and payroll software.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
