Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy & Policy Development

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems aligned with company objectives
  • Advise management on HR-related strategies and organizational development
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies across departments

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Coordinate manpower planning with department heads
  • Ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Maintain healthy employer-employee relationships
  • Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues
  • Plan and execute employee engagement and retention initiatives

4. Performance Management

  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems
  • Support managers in goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans
  • Identify training and development needs

5. Training & Development

  • Organize onboarding and induction programs
  • Plan internal and external training sessions
  • Support leadership development and skill enhancement initiatives

6. Payroll, Compensation & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll processing, attendance, and leave management
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws (PF, ESIC, labor regulations, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

7. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage HR systems and reporting
  • Monitor HR metrics and prepare management reports
  • Support audits and compliance reviews

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • HR experience in the electronics retail / Consumer Electronics industry (preferred)

  • Experience managing large retail workforce and store-level HR operations
  • Knowledge of retail hiring, frontline staff recruitment, and attrition control
  • Exposure to shift management, attendance, and incentive structures
  • Understanding of retail labor laws and compliance requirements
