10 to 15 years of experience (5 years managing HSE in Hydrocarbon industry), must have Diploma in Safety or equivalent.

•         Advise the PM & CM on best practice and HSE program developments.

•         Promote the Zero incident” philosophy.

•         Coordinate HSE activities with the employer.

•         Conduct periodic HSE assessments of the project HSE program.

•         Conduct HSE orientations to acquaint employees with site conditions, safe work practices and procedures.

•         Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable HSE requirements.

•         Coordinate the worker’s compensation insurance reporting requirements with risk management.

•         Train and advice personnel on HSE regulations, assessments and process activities.

•         Actively participate in Zero Injury team for safety improvement.

•         Provide information to employees regarding emergency response and responsibilities.

•         Interpret HSE requirements as they apply to project operation tasks.

•         File HSE performance reports, weekly-monthly and other HSE reports as required by project management.

•         Advise employees, workmen for hazardous conditions/concerns on regular basis.

•         Able to prepare project protocol for incident information.

•         Assist to facilitating or conducting incident investigation.

•         Lead the people based safety process.

•         Review, inspect and inventory all the types of monitoring equipment for its calibration, use and documentation requirements.

•         Review and/or order HSE inventory on monthly basis including PPE’s.

•         Review /recommend the resources, personal protective equipment and expendable supply needed for the project to ensure safety and health of the workmen, the public and/or for the environment.

•         Coordinate and track project team personnel medical surveillance and training qualifications.

•         Verify and updates all the postings, warnings and signages applicable to the project works/sites.

•         Verify all the personnel who enter in brown field area must train to do so.

•         Verify that all emergency numbers , near by hospitals locations are posted at site location for easy access to all areas of the projects.

•         He must aware about permit system requirements at project sites.

•         Perform requirement of air monitoring / access of surveillance cameras as or when necessary.

•         Represent the project during any governmental agency inspections.
