Job Description

The HSE Engineer shall be responsible for implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, client HSE requirements, and international standards for safe execution of all project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor Project HSE Plan, risk assessments, and JSA/HIRA
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with statutory rules, client HSE requirements, and site safety procedures
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as hot work, work at height, lifting operations, confined space entry, and pressure testing
  • Carry out site safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Maintain HSE records, permits, safety statistics, and regulatory documentation
  • Coordinate with Project, Construction, QA/QC, and Client teams on HSE matters

Qualification & Experience:

  • B.Tech / BE / Diploma – Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Safety preferred)
  • NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); additional certifications an advantage
  • 7 to 9 years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Industrial projects
