Description
As a Workday Analyst at Confluent, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and technical support of the Workday HCM system and other modules. Your responsibilities will include providing operational support to the People team, internal business partners, and other key stakeholders. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of HR processes and extensive experience with various Workday modules to address tier 1 & tier 2 inquiries, troubleshoot issues, create and schedule reports, upload EIBs, configure settings, conduct testing, and provide HRIS support. Additionally, you will assist team members and users in resolving system issues by investigating problems and offering detailed recommendations for solutions. Your role will involve serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day Workday inquiries, errors, and data issues. You will utilize your expertise in troubleshooting, HCM configuration, advanced reporting, security, org changes, and EIB uploads to ensure smooth business operations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom reports, as well as creating documentation and training materials for system updates and enhancements. Collaboration with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into technical requirements will be essential. To excel in this position, you should have 3-5 years of HRIS experience with a strong focus on Workday HCM, EIBs, security, and advanced reporting. Knowledge across multiple Workday functional areas such as HCM, Compensation, Time & Absence, Performance, Talent, and Benefits is highly desirable. Being an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive, collaborative approach will be key to success.
