Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Job Title:

Job Summary:

HR/IR Supervisor or Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR):

Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
Maintain employee records and ensure timely documentation.
Handle employee engagement programs and coordinate training & development initiatives.
Monitor attendance, leave, and payroll inputs in coordination with the accounts/payroll team.
Support in performance management and appraisals process.

Industrial Relations (IR):

Maintain harmonious relations between management and workforce.
Ensure timely compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Factory Act, etc.).
Handle union interactions (if applicable), grievance redressal, and disciplinary procedures.
Coordinate with government and statutory bodies during inspections or audits.
Maintain records and registers as per statutory norms (muster rolls, wages, accident records, etc.).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of
labour laws, compliance, and industrial relations.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with workforce and management.
Conflict resolution and grievance handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.
Detail-oriented and well-organized.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Background:

Experience in
manufacturing, factory, or plant environment
.
Exposure to
unionized workforce management
(preferred but not mandatory).

Salary: 3.36 Lpa
