Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Campus Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a campus hiring strategy aligned with the companys talent needs.
  • Identify target colleges/universities based on program relevance, rankings, and hiring goals.
  • Plan annual campus hiring calendars, budgets, and resource requirements.

2. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with college placement cells, professors, and career services teams.
  • Represent the organization at campus events, information sessions, and employer branding activities.
  • Engage alumni to support recruitment efforts and employer branding.

3. Employer Branding

  • Promote the organizations brand through campus events, social media campaigns, presentations, and career fairs.
  • Collaborate with marketing/communications teams to create brochures, videos, and recruitment materials.
  • Organize hackathons, competitions, workshops, and webinars to increase brand visibility.

4. Recruitment Execution

  • Coordinate and conduct campus drives including pre-placement talks (PPTs), tests, interviews, and group discussions.
  • Manage end-to-end selection processes for interns and full-time graduates.
  • Work with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria.

5. Candidate Assessment & Selection

  • Review applications and resumes to shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Facilitate technical and HR interview panels.
  • Ensure fairness, consistency, and data-driven assessment via structured interviews or assessment tools.

6. Internship & Graduate Program Management

  • Oversee intern onboarding, evaluations, and conversion to full-time roles.
  • Support early talent development programs such as training rotations and mentoring.
  • Track performance, feedback, and engagement of new grad hires.

7. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain recruitment dashboards, candidate pipelines, and hiring metrics.
  • Analyze campus hiring data to identify trends, desired skill gaps, and improvement actions.
  • Prepare post-campus season reports and propose strategic enhancements.

8. Coordination & Logistics

  • Manage venue bookings, travel schedules, and logistics for campus hiring teams.
  • Ensure seamless execution of assessment centers, tests, and interviews.
  • Coordinate offer letters, documentation, and onboarding processes.

9. Compliance & Process Management

  • Ensure recruitment processes meet company policies, labor laws, and diversity standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate data and ensure adherence to data protection guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Good understanding of assessment methods and interview techniques.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of candidates and multiple campus events.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ATS or HRMS systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
