Job Summary:

Industrial HR professional

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, ESI, PF, etc.)

• Handle disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and maintain industrial harmony

• Liaise with government and statutory bodies during inspections and audits

• Maintain all statutory registers and ensure timely submissions

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

• Coordinate blue-collar and staff recruitment in collaboration with production and operations

• Manage onboarding and induction processes for new hires

• Collaborate with manpower contractors/vendors and ensure compliance

3. Attendance & Payroll Coordination

• Monitor daily attendance, overtime, and shift schedules

• Coordinate with payroll team for accurate salary processing

• Maintain leave and attendance records for all employees

4. Training & Development

• Identify training needs at the shop-floor level

• Assist in implementing skill development programs and statutory trainings (e.g. safety, fire drills)

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare

• Plan and execute employee welfare and engagement activities

• Support in implementation of health & safety programs

• Address employee queries and maintain positive work culture

Requirements:

• Education:

• Experience:

• Knowledge of Labor Laws and Statutory Compliance is essential

• Familiar with HRMS / attendance systems (e.g. SAP, ZK Teco, etc.)

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage shop-floor HR independently

Work Conditions:

• Based at the plant; requires frequent floor visits

• May involve travel to other units or labor offices as needed

• Working knowledge of local language preferred
